Insurance mediation activity regime
We act in accordance with the principles of honesty, fairness and professionalism for the benefit and representation of your interests vis-à-vis insurers. On the basis of the information provided by you, your requirements and needs, we provide you with independent advice based on an objective analysis of a sufficient number of insurance contracts offered by the insurance market. We make personalised recommendations based on professional criteria regarding the insurance contract that best suits your requirements and needs for an adequate coverage of the risks requested by you. If, after the conclusion or extension of the contract, any payment (other than the periodic premium) has to be made as a result of a change in the risk, the insured sums or any other circumstance, PIB GROUP IBERIA will give the reasons for this. It shall also be informed if on the occasion of the modification or extension of the contract there has been an alteration of the initial information.
Remuneration regime for insurance mediation services
The remuneration derived from our insurance distribution activity is established on the basis of a combination of a commission paid by the insurance company (included in the insurance premium) and professional fees, previously agreed with you, which we will invoice you directly by issuing a separate and independent invoice to the premium receipt issued by the insurance company.

Failure to provide the required information will make it impossible to subscribe to and fulfil the contract. In accordance with art. 99.1 of Law 20/2015 on the Regulation, Supervision and Solvency of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies, PIB Group Iberia may transfer your personal data to the insurer selected by you for the purposes of guaranteeing the full performance of the insurance contract and compliance with legal obligations. It may also transfer them to entities, bodies or persons authorised for the resolution and processing of claims; to entities that participate in the coverage of your policy (legal and health services); to courts or tribunals in case of being required; to companies providing solvency services in case of non-payment; and, where appropriate, to companies of PIB Group Limited that perform the same services as PIB Group Iberia. The personal data that you provide us with will be kept for as long as the stated purpose subsists and until the expiry of the statute of limitations for any actions that may arise from the fulfilment of the insurance contract, once this has expired for any reason and/or closure of open claims, being blocked when they are no longer relevant for the fulfilment of the said purpose. You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we process your personal data. You may withdraw your consent at any time, provided that the processing is not necessary for the performance of the insurance contract. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the prior contractual consent. Where the erasure results from the exercise of the right to object (art. 21.2 GDPR (EU) 2016/679), the data controller may retain the data subject's identifiable data in order to prevent future processing for direct marketing purposes.
