AAD – Friendly Declaration of Accidents
When a car accident occurs between two cars or motorcycles, there is the “cumbersome” process of filling out the claim paperwork. The first problem is to find the DAA (Friendly Accident Declaration), which should be in the glove compartment, but in many cases it is nowhere to be found.
We leave you the standard format of this document, which should be provided by your insurance company or your broker, so that it is always available in the vehicle:
iDEA Statement
To prevent this from happening, UNESPA (as the Spanish insurance companies “employers” association) has devised an application called “iDEA Declaration” which, in our opinion, is perfect.
Using the application, one of the parties involved fills out the report with the smartphone, and sends this statement to the other driver, who can confirm it or give his own version of what happened. After finishing, it is immediately sent to the insurance companies of both, so that at that moment all the management of the report by the insurance companies begins. The convenience is total.
What problems do we avoid thanks to iDEA?
In this way, we will save all of this:
- The use of paper,
- Then you have to scan it,
- Not understanding the lyrics,
- Incomplete information
- Etc.
These are problems that delay a lot the correct management of the claim and that in this way will be solved in a moment.
