On Thursday, December 10, 2015, the Piniés Award was presented at the Rafael del Pino Auditorium in Madrid to the best national student of the Insurance Brokers Course 2013/2014. This year’s winner was Raúl Vera, member for Madrid, but we are proud that a member of our team was also awarded.
Accesit Piniés Award
Two accesits were also awarded for the best academic records of the course, as well as for the dissertation written at the end of the course. This first accesit went to Gonzalo Moné Julve, a member of the PIB Group brokerage team. We are proud to have a great team of professionals, who achieve what they set out to do and whose merits are recognized.
Gonzalo’s thesis dealt with the characteristics of the Professional Civil Liability of Lawyers. It was valued for its innovative ideas, for being based on Mediation as an alternative solution to conflicts in the event of a claim, and for the usefulness of its application. As the Official Insurance Brokerage of the Bar Association of Zaragoza, several of the issues proposed can be applied in our daily practice.
Technology in insurance mediation
This award ceremony took place within the framework of the XIV CECAS Forum, which, as we said, was held in Madrid. The main theme of this year’s edition was: “Insurance mediation in the Age of Technology”.. It was discussed how insurance brokers must integrate technology and improve IT processes to better contact with the client and make our services more accessible. Joaquín Moné Foz and Gonzalo Moné Julve attended on behalf of the Brokerage Firm.
We hope to continue improving and growing, integrating new mechanisms and computer systems, in order to improve day by day the service provided to our customers. This is what we are achieving, as we commented in the past, by integrating a better insurance brokerage management software.
