Regime of activity of insurance mediation services
We act in accordance with the principles of honesty, fairness and professionalism, for the benefit and representation of your interests before the insurance companies. Based on the information provided by you, your requirements and needs, we provide you with independent advice based on the objective analysis of a sufficient number of insurance contracts offered by the insurance market. We make personalized recommendations based on professional criteria regarding the insurance contract that would best suit your requirements and needs for an adequate coverage of the risks requested by you. If after the conclusion or extension of the contract any payment (other than the periodic premium) should be made as a result of a change in the risk, the insured sums or any other circumstance, PIB GROUP IBERIA will give the reasons for this. It shall also be informed if, on the occasion of the modification or extension of the contract, the initial information has been altered.
Remuneration system for insurance mediation services
The remuneration derived from our insurance distribution activity is established on the basis of a combination of a commission paid by the insurance company (included in the insurance premium) and professional fees, previously agreed with you, which we will invoice you directly by issuing an independent and separate invoice to the premium receipt issued by the insurance company.

Protection of personal data

Failure to provide the required information implies the impossibility of subscription and fulfillment of the contract. In order to improve the performance of our services, we elaborate a commercial profile of our clients, even automated, based on the information provided, which allows us to offer you insurance and/or financial products and services according to your interests.
We have obtained the personal data from you (or from the policyholder) and the category of data to which they belong are: identification and contact data; bank details; health data (if necessary) and data for the assessment of the insurable risk.
In accordance with art. 99.1 of Law 20/2015 on Regulation, Supervision and Solvency of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies, PIB Group Iberia may transfer your personal data to the insurer selected by you for the purpose of ensuring the full development of the insurance contract and compliance with legal obligations. It may also transfer them to entities, organizations or persons authorized for the resolution and processing of claims; to entities that participate in the coverage of your policy (legal and health services); to courts or tribunals in case of being required; to companies that provide solvency services in case of non-payment; and, if applicable, to companies of PIB Group Limited that develop the same services as PIB Group Iberia. The personal data provided by you will be kept for as long as the indicated purpose subsists and until the expiration of the statute of limitations of the actions that may arise from the fulfillment of the insurance contract, once it has expired for any reason and/or closure of open claims, being blocked when they are no longer relevant for the fulfillment of that purpose. You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we process your personal data. You may withdraw your consent at any time, provided that the processing is not necessary for the performance of the insurance contract. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on prior contractual consent. Where the erasure derives from the exercise of the right to object (art. 21.2 GDPR (EU) 2016/679), the data controller may retain the data subject’s identifying data in order to prevent future processing for direct marketing purposes.
