Grupo VG was founded in 1986 when Max Galcerán and Juan Carlos Ventín decided to form a partnership to strengthen the service and development of their respective client portfolios.
By 2023, when it becomes part of the PIB Group, the company will achieve sustainable and profitable business development, while offering its employees a reliable company that fosters professional growth.
Grupo VG's scope of action has focused on corporate insurance and insurance specialties. Thus, after starting with large and medium-sized Spanish companies, the International division was created in 2001, the Employee & Benefits division in 2008 and the Specialties division in 2010.
Corporate Business Division
With placement capacity in the Spanish and London markets, we advise the Insurance Programs of large Spanish and middle market companies. The sectors in which we have achieved considerable penetration are: audiovisual media, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals and logistics.
International Division
With Focus on Latin America we specialize in providing global and/or local solutions to Spanish companies that diversified their business outside our borders.
E&B Division
By means of a personalized and careful customer service, a considerable development and permanence of the business was achieved. It has come to represent 50% of the business volume. Pension Plans, PPA, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Accident Insurance and Insurance for foreign students, make up the lines of product offerings.
Specialties Division
This division was born in 1990 when Grupo VG was appointed as advisor to the Barcelona'92 Olympic Committee, with special focus on cancellation coverage and its economic repercussion on TV rights. Subsequently, the Commercial Aviation, General Aviation, Art and Professional Liability businesses were developed.
