Grupo VG was founded in 1986 when Max Galcerán and Juan Carlos Ventín decided to join forces to strengthen the service and development of their respective client portfolios.
Until 2023, the year it was integrated into PIB Group, sustainable and profitable business development was achieved, while also offering its employees a reliable company that fosters professional growth.
Grupo VG's area of operation has focused on corporate insurance and insurance specialties. Thus, after starting with large and medium-sized Spanish companies, the International division was created in 2001, the Employee & Benefits in 2008, and from 2010 onwards, specialties.
Corporate Business Division
With a market placement capability in both Spain and London, we advise on the Insurance Programmes of large Spanish and mid-market companies. The sectors in which considerable penetration has been achieved are: audiovisual media, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and logistics.
International Division
With a focus on Latin America, we specialise in providing global and/or local solutions for Spanish companies that have diversified their business beyond our borders.
E&B Division
Through personalised and meticulous customer service, considerable business development and retention was achieved, coming to represent 50% of the turnover. Pension Plans, PPA, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Accident Insurance and Insurance for foreign students make up the product offering lines.
Specialties Division
This division was established in 1990 when Grupo VG was appointed as advisor to the Barcelona ’92 Olympic Committee, with a particular focus on cancellation cover and its economic impact on television rights. Subsequently, the businesses of Commercial Aviation, General Aviation, Art, and Professional Indemnity developed.
